Anti-bullying programmes

Anti-bullying programmes aim to take positive approaches and put effective practices in place within schools that have been shown to work in reducing the occurrence of bullying.

The Aere Tai anti-bullying programme offered in Gisborne is called True Colours. It is based on ‘drama through bullying’ and is aimed at children aged 11 – 18.

Students develop their own dramatic scenarios based on the information gathered from youth participating in the programme.
