Our Approach
As a collective, we represent the interests of Pasifika families to improve health, education, economic and social outcomes in our region.
Vision: Growing connected, confident and active Pacific communities
Mission: To demonstrate excellence as Pasifika service providers regionally, nationally and globally
Regional strength
Stretching from Hamilton and Tauranga in the north, the Hawke’s Bay in the south, Gisborne to the east and New Plymouth to the west with Tokoroa and Rotorua centrally located, Aere Tai was officially launched in August 2014 in Hamilton by Associate Minister of Health Tariana Turia.
Varied services
Our range of community based health care, education, social and Whanau Ora services across the collective meet the highest standards and are delivered by friendly, caring, qualified professionals.
A unique Pacific approach
We identify and promote the use of Pacific models of care and practice, and support Pacific provider service development across the region, including in rural and isolated communities.
We come from a place of understanding, as many of our staff are part of these communities, where understanding and respect are paramount. Taking the time to listen and understand enables us to effectively advocate for the care and services for our people, particularly those where language and understanding remain a barrier.
Aere Tai is proud to serve and support our communities through regional collaboration and care.
